It’s easy to get turn-by-turn directions on your Android Wear smartwatch. Plus, with Android Wear 2.0, you can do it without being connected to your smartphone if your smartwatch has GPS built-in. Here’s how to use Google Maps on your Android Wear smartwatch, by voice command and manually.

If you want to use navigation on your smartwatch, the first step you should take is downloading the Google Maps app from the PlayStore onto your watch HERE.

If your watch has GPS and Android Wear 2.0, you can navigate without being connected to your smartphone. You can even have the map always on with the ambient display. But, even if you’re on the older version of Android Wear, you can still navigate on your watch if your phone is locked, as long as its location is still enabled.

Get turn-by-turn directions by voice
You can tell your watch to give your directions to a particular place using your voice. Here’s how:
Wake up your watch and say “OK Google...”
Then say “...navigate to [your destination]...”
Then specify the mode of transportation “...by [foot, bike or car].”
A Google Maps card will appear, and you may need to further clarify your destination.
Turn by turn navigation will then begin.

Get turn-by-turn directions manually
If you don’t want to set a destination by voice, you can do it manually. Here’s how:
Open the Google Maps app on your smartwatch.
Tap a destination on the map.
Press the Navigate button at the bottom of the display.
Swipe left to see the address of the destination you chose, and swipe left again to change the mode of transportation between walking, riding a bicycle 5or driving, then swipe again to close that menu and go!

Other Google Maps tips for Android Wear
Once you’ve begun navigating, you can see a list of the directions by swiping up on the green card at the bottom.
To see the time and distance left until you reach your destination, swipe left once.
To take a break from full-screen navigation and mute the directions, swipe right. To go back to navigation, tap the blue arrow on the directions notification.
To cancel your navigation, swipe the card up, then left and tap Exit navigation.

In my opinion, the best practices for SEO is to keep it simple and apply a bit of common sense. Most SEO plugins will take care of the common architecture related stuff for you. So in this article I will only focus on techniques that you need to do.

But first of all lets understand what Search Engine Optimization {SEO} means:
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a web search engine's unpaid results—often referred to as "natural", "organic", or "earned" results.

In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users; these visitors can then be converted into customers.

SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, video search, academic search, news search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

SEO differs from local search engine optimization in that the latter is focused on optimizing a business' online presence so that its web pages will be displayed by search engines when a user enters a local search for its products or services. The former instead is more focused on national searches.

In short or simply put, its a way of telling search engines that "this particular page has the best result for what readers are constantly in need of!"

I have identified some SEO practices these simple SEO techniques, if practiced properly, can make a significant difference as to how my pages are ranked in the Search Engine Queries.

*Use proper anchor text for inter-links. Don’t use “here”, “there” etc for the anchor text if possible avoid it.

*Optimize the images, always create alt tags and write description in the alt tag.

*Use search engine friendly permalinks. Try not to have too many ‘&’, ‘?’, ‘!’ etc characters in the URL. Sometimes it is unavoidable, but try to keep it to a minimum.

*Use hyphens (-) between words to improve readability.

*Do not use underscores (_) in URLs, use hyphens (-) instead.

*Do not use session ID in URLs. If you are using good hosting then you shouldn't have to worry about this one.

*Use internal linking when possible and appropriate.

*Use sticky posts (if you can).

*Use tag clouds (if it applies).

*Have a category description paragraph.

*Let the visitors subscribe to category specific RSS feed. (Use category specific RSS plugin for WordPress)

*Use rel=”nofollow” tag on low value links to not pass the page rank juice.

*Use sub-directories rather than sub- domains when possible. Sub-domains do not share link love from the main domain as it is treated as a different domain.

*Research the target audience and aim the site content appropriately.

*Keep the content up to date. Visitors don’t like outdated content.

Updating the content frequently also attracts the Search engines spiders to index the web pages frequently. Going forward I will try to use this list to optimize my web pages.

Here is a simple checklist that will help you maintain your On-Page Optimization:

*Keyword density- Avoid keyword stuffing and keep the density between 0.5 to 1.5%.

*Heading tags- Use heading tags (H1, H2, H3, etc.) to highlight main points.

*Targeted keyword- Choose a perfect keyword for your blog posts. Prefer long-tail keywords as they are easier to rank.

*Use your focus keyword once in the first paragraph of your post, if possible.

*Permalink structure- Use an SEO- friendly permalink structure which contains your focus keyword.

*Meta description- Fill out your meta description. Don’t leave it blank. Your meta description should have your focus keyword in it.

*Write keyword rich titles- The title of your blog post should be attractive and keyword rich. It is better to start your title with your focus keyword.

*Image optimization- Optimize your images to boost your SEO status.

As we're already aware, Android Nougat comes jam-packed with a range of features make the user experience as seamless as possible. The latest update highlights to be rolled out to Nougat include an improved notifications panel, optimization of the data and power saving mechanisms, and support for VR. One of the big ticket items that has won a lot of fans (us included) are the task management options. Thanks to the latest update, you can now use two apps simultaneously in split screen mode.
Not all apps are created equal, and for that reason you'll find that not all of them will be compatible with the split-screen mode. Don't worry, it's not you, it's them (the developers) as they will need to complete another update before more apps will be able to be used in this mode. For the moment, though, there is a way around this issue. You can run any application in split screen from the developer options in the latest version of the Google mobile operating system.

How To Run any app in split screen mode
First. you'll need to activate the developer options on your mobile. To do this go to Settings > Developer options > About this device. Once you are there click on "Version number" a few times until you receive a notice saying you are now a developer.

Return to the Settings menu and open "Developer options. Then scroll right down to the end of the page and enable the last option which is listed: "Force activities to be re-sizable." Once you've done this you will need to restart your phone to activate the option. Once you've activated this option, even those apps that aren't usually compatible with the Nougat upgrade will be able to run in split screen mode.

Finally, to activate the split screen mode, open two apps of your choice and then click and hold on the task manager button. Both apps will then open in the split screen mode.
